Fund raising

Fund raising, fund raising and more fund raising. Save the Sequoias, save the whales, elect a president, join a church, social group or organization and once a day or every chance they get to grab your attention they are passing the collection plate, when will this nonsense ever end. Rob from the poor and middle class and give to the rich, it's not charity, it's money laundering. Whether your cause is malevolent or benevolent, the rhetoric is all the same, give till it hurts, or give till your guilty conscience quits hurting.
As long as there are cookie jars there will be individuals ready to stick their hand in them, my advice is eliminate the cookie jars.
Appropriations are the same as fund raising accept the donor has no say so as to which cookie jar his cookies are being stored in, that is left up to your elected representatives who know more about your needs than you do, who really don't care a tinker's dam about your needs, but merely care about the needs of the special interest, who will fund their next reelection.
