Sometimes the road less traveled is a river
Sometimes the road less traveled is a boat out on the ocean
Sometimes the road less traveled is no more than a trail
Sometimes the road less traveled is the wind
In the year 2010, in the land of the free
America was dying from a fatal case of greed
Commerce did not flow down rivers and highways
It flowed down copper and fiber, on a one way trip to hell
Obama was our savior, good for families and labor
But there were discrepancies between his words and his behavior
In the midst of our disaster, he bowed down to his master
He sold out his supporters to the highest bidder
Uncle Tom has sold out again
He ain’t no JFK, and he ain’t no fucking Lincoln
Pigmentation will be his only distinction
Quid Pro Quo his claim to fame
When history misspells his name
Martin Luther King, Jr. would roll over in his grave
If he knew the first African-American president in American history was a corporate slave
